So much has happened in 2011. Artistically, not as much as I would have liked. I learned a lot about myself and others in 2 ended relationships this year, had my car stolen, suffered a back injury (take good care of your back!) and was promoted at work, then demoted. Family dynamics taught me never to get involved in peoples affairs that I have no effect on. I'm surprised I haven't killed myself at the end of all this shit.
So all in all, I can't wait till this year is over. As for the tattoo apprenticeship, it's not happening right now. I have some responsibilities that I need to attend to and I might get a chance to approach the industry with a new frame of mind.
In the new year, I want to take a painting class. I want to know how to use color to my advantage. I also want to learn how to use oil paints. I know they are messy and never seem to dry, but I have a studio in the garage now, where I can use though wet mediums.
I hope everyone is doing well. Thank you for your artistic support.
I hope the world doesn't end in 2012, but experiences a paradigm shift so great we all grow with wisdom and understanding on how be be better people. And in turn, when we improve ourselves, the world changes around us. For the better.
